Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and evolution of scalable, secure, and high-
performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy across multiple teams and product
areas
Establish and promote engineering best practices, including code quality, testing,
documentation, and operational excellence
Design and review distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native
solutions with a focus on scalability and reliability
Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and collaborate with Architects, DevOps,
Product, Security, and Support teams
Translate complex business requirements into architectural designs, technical
roadmaps, and execution plans
Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to
improve productivity and code quality
Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues while improving system reliability
and performance
Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to support long-term
platform growth
Mentor senior engineers, lead design reviews, and foster a culture of technical
excellence and continuous learning
Influence engineering direction through architecture reviews, technical leadership,
and strategic planning
Support operational excellence through incident reviews, reliability improvements,
and production readiness initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Node.js,
TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React)
Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and
microservices architectures
Strong experience building and governing REST and/or gRPC APIs
Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and hands-on experience with AWS
services
Experience implementing comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit,
integration, and end-to-end testing
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance
optimization
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins,
Spinnaker, or similar tools
