Your goal will be to ensure that the site manufacturing & support activities, without interruption, without any facilities shortages and/or any issues thereof. You will achieve 100% compliance to Local legal regulations, Quality, Health Safety & Environment management systems and standards. You are responsible for the management and maintenance of site facilities, buildings and equipment(s) (hardware & software).

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Works cross functionally to develop and implement a strategic Facilities road-map and annual operating plan which is a competitive advantage to Mondelēz. Partner with internal & external stakeholders and service providers to define and meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals. Establish a strong governance to review & control Operational performance and continuous Improvement plan to deliver against best in class both internally and externally.
  • Lead and be accountable that Building Maintenance program, Facilities maintenance program capabilities, including maintenance repairs & overall operations are in place. Accountable to insure adherence to business continuity plan, manufacturing standards government regulations are understood by all employees/services providers at the site, regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
  • Provide leadership, coaching to Facilities team towards implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working:  delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and technical mastery of maintenance and operation teams; PM (Progressive Maintenance) Pillar, and CBM (condition based monitoring), Visual controls & tools Mgmt., Lubrication mgmt. & Calibration of equipment(s) etc.
  • Role model Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and builds skills capability across the Plant technical/engineering team to engage with latest modern practices.  Have a clear people succession and resource plan, for the asset & technology population , identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain and develop critical talent
  • Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities in order to deliver the company objectives, and goals.

  • Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standards
  • An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment, PM (Progressive Maintenance) expertise,  Spare parts management, SAP PM module end user knowledge, Technology & Engineering automation basics.

  • Condition Based Monitoring (CBM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Predictive Maintenance including continual development of these strategies, a strategy that focuses on optimizing plant GE.
  • Preventative Maintenance with focus to improve “Uptime” or “Runtime” preventive maintenance processes.
  • Conduct and at times lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Breakdown Analysis (BDA) investigations to reduce/eliminate reoccurring catastrophic downtime, extending MTBB and reducing MTTR.
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to implement Predictive and Condition Based Strategies utilizing Ultrasonic Testing, IR Scanning, Vibration Technology, Lubrication optimization and testing and Best-Practices techniques.
  • Work closely with engineering and maintenance associates on equipment optimization and reliability development.

·Strong operational and manufacturing leadership with experience in TPM, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts.

·Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrating abilities in analytics, problem solving and team building.

·Strong business and financial acumen, project management and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.

  • Produce, audit and improve Preventive Maintenance tasks and processes.
  • Maximize MRO asset life cycles by streamlining inventory management—including strategic sourcing, improved organization, and dependable vendor partnerships.

Technical Expertise:

Strong mechanical aptitude with a comprehensive understanding of maintenance workflows:

  • Mechanical System Troubleshooting
  • Mechanical Drive Systems
  • Conveyance systems
  • PD and Centrifugal pumps
  • High speed rotating equipment
  • Pneumatic conveying systems
  • Pneumatics
  • Electrical
  • Hydraulics

Comprehensive understanding of process controls and instrumentation, spanning:

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, programming ladder logic, P&IDs, PFDs, and other technical documentation
  • Ability to safely and effectively use electrical troubleshooting devices
  • Allen-Bradley Control Logix PLC's, VFD’s
  • Industrial networking
  • HMI’s: Wonderware, and AB Panel view
  • Servo and motion controls
  • Process Instrumentation: RTD’s, Pressure transducers, Level Transmitters, Thermocouples, etc. 
  • General Electronic Trouble Shooting Skills

Education / Certifications:

  • Engineering degree preferred, or a minimum of 10 years in industrial maintenance with a proven ability to lead teams and manage the end-to-end maintenance and troubleshooting of fully automated production environments.

Job specific requirements:

  • Experience with high-speed packaging machinery preferred.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance procedures preferred.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices, RCM, CBM, TBM, IL6S, MRO preferred
  • Knowledge of and strict adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), GMP and FSQA programs. 
  • Ability to address problem solving in a team setting
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS/SAP) skills.
  • Understanding of; inventory control, spare parts management, and overhaul procedures.

Travel requirements: 5%

Work schedule: Monday- Friday ( Day Shift)

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time.
