As Sr. Business Analyst I, you’ll work as part of an agile scrum team gathering requirements, writing in and refining user stories and epics, developing acceptance criteria, performing QA testing on development work, and collaborating with stakeholders in a federal government space to deliver new features and functionality to a suite of web applications.

What you’ll do:

  • You will attend all agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement meetings, and Retrospectives.
  • You will collaborate with developers, scrum masters, UX/UI specialists, and government stakeholders to enhance and deliver new features to a suite of web applications.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
  • You have 5+ years as a business analyst in an agile software development environment
  • You have 5+ years writing user stories in Jira or a similar program
  • You have 5+ years of experience performing functional QA testing in support of user stories
  • You have excellent communications skills and are practiced in collaborating with many different stakeholders to reach consensus and deliver value
  • You have experience building out and tracking epics for the delivery of new functionality in a web application
  • You have experience reporting on the progress of development projects to leadership
  • You have collaborated with developers, testers, and UX design specialists to refine requirements and contribute to the creation of system wireframes and requirements documentation
  • You understand basic elements of web development, including HTML/CSS/JS
