Description

Own the clinical brachy functions driving clinical market development, clinical apps development, clinical follow-up and the BrachyAcademy/KOL.

Responsibilities

•      Define our clinical strategy for brachy: Develop clinical market development plans as input into our brachy business strategy

•      Define our clinical workflows together with product management: Clinical application development collaboration with product management to optimize brachy workflows

•      Deliver and coordinate the clinical risks in our complaint handling risk matrix. Following our risk matrix process

•      Own the clinical claims made regarding brachy solutions: Translate clinical proof points into clinical value statements as input to global commercial solutions marketing

•      Own PMCF as part of the PMS process: manage Clinical Evaluation Reporting where needed in the PMS process for the brachy products

•      Drive the BrachyAcademy as an important asset: Ensure full connectivity of the BrachyAcademy with our solutions and use for KOL communications

•      Follow the clinical literature and analyze: Review the clinical literature and provide summaries into brachy stakeholders internally including from scientific conferences

Provide a view on clinical needs for reimbursement strategies: ensure that we have views on clinical claims needed to drive reimbursement

Authorities

- Manage function according to agreed financial targets

- Decide on priorities in function

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competEncies

•      Educational background and experience:

•      Education: Advanced degree in Health Sciences (MD or PhD Biomedical studies)

•      Experience: 10+ years industrial clinical experience with proven strategic leadership in a leadership role

•      Strong people leadership skills

•      Skills and competencies

•      Experienced with leading a diverse group of staff (SoC 8-10) and to be part of a business leadership team

•      Strategic thinker with ability to define clear portfolio priorities and translate clinical insights into actionable input to products and value propositions together with product management

•      Proven track record in managing a sizeable budget

•      Proven involvement in product development

•      Skilled in understanding clinical literature and translating input into PMS/PMCF assessments

•      Strong understanding of clinical workflows and preferably in radiotherapy

•      Proven track record in developing clinical strategies

•      Excellent communicator

•      Key metrics

•      Developed clinical strategy plans with growth parameters
