Key Account Manager – Direct Business (Industry & Public Utilities)

Position Summary:

Xylem is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to lead sales and customer engagement within the Direct Business segment, covering industrial companies, public utilities, and heavy manufacturing sectors. This strategic role involves managing complex sales cycles, developing tailored solutions, and fostering long-term relationships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth and market penetration.

  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts (end users, contractors, operators), ensuring high-quality service and product delivery.

  • Lead the customization and delivery of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) components, including collaboration with third-party suppliers.

  • Ensure seamless integration of Xylem’s solutions into customer operations, providing technical support as needed.

  • Prioritize strategic accounts, ensuring precision and customization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, production, customer support, pricing) to meet customer needs and drive business growth.

  • Prepare and present forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

  • Draft business proposals and negotiate with stakeholders.

  • Maintain and grow the existing client base through proactive engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, preferably within industrial or utility sectors.

  • Proven ability to manage complex sales processes and customer relationships.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with ETO/CTO processes and end-to-end project management.

  • Proficiency in English (B1) and advanced command of the local language (C1).

Xylem recherche un(e) Responsable Grands Comptes expérimenté(e) pour piloter les ventes et la relation client dans le segment Business Direct, couvrant les secteurs industriels et les services publics. Responsabilités principales:

  • Définir et mettre en œuvre des stratégies commerciales ambitieuses pour favoriser la croissance et la pénétration du marché.

  • Gérer et développer les relations avec les comptes clés (utilisateurs finaux, opérateurs, installateurs), en garantissant la qualité des produits et services.

  • Superviser la personnalisation et la livraison des composants ETO/CTO, en partenariat avec des fournisseurs tiers si nécessaire.

  • Assurer l’intégration fluide des solutions Xylem dans les processus clients, avec un accompagnement technique adapté.

  • Prioriser les comptes stratégiques en assurant précision et personnalisation.

  • Collaborer avec les équipes internes (marketing, ingénierie, production, support client, tarification) pour répondre aux besoins clients et stimuler la croissance.

  • Préparer et présenter des prévisions, budgets et rapports à la direction.

  • Suivre les tendances du marché et les activités concurrentielles pour identifier de nouvelles opportunités.

  • Rédiger des propositions commerciales et négocier avec les parties prenantes.

  • Maintenir et développer le portefeuille clients par une approche proactive.

Profil recherché:

  • Expérience confirmée (15+ ans) dans la vente, idéalement dans les secteurs industriels ou des services publics.

  • Maîtrise des processus de vente complexes et de la gestion de la relation client.

  • Excellentes compétences en communication, négociation et résolution de problèmes.

  • Expérience des processus ETO/CTO et de la gestion de projets de bout en bout.

  • Maîtrise de l’anglais (niveau B1) et de la langue locale (niveau C1).
