Derivatives and Fixed Income Analyst Roles
We are seeking dynamic and talented individuals to join our team, offering multiple positions within the financial analysis space, each focusing on derivatives and fixed income pricing. Below are the distinct roles and responsibilities, along with the skills required for each:
1. Derivatives Analyst
Position Summary:
As a Derivatives Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for reviewing market data, performing critical quality control functions, and managing customer relationships in the OTC derivatives space. You will work on pricing derivatives, contribute to product development, and provide exceptional service to clients across asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and manage daily/monthly valuation processes for clients.
Resolve pricing challenges for both simple and complex derivatives.
Contribute to the design and testing of the company's valuation systems.
Build and maintain client relationships to enhance service usage.
Ensure smooth data capture, cleaning, and automation processes.
Required Skills:
A degree in a quantitative discipline.
Understanding of OTC derivatives across multiple asset classes.
Strong proficiency in Excel and VBA.
Ability to work independently and with external clients.
2. Fixed Income Product Analyst
Position Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for daily operations and oversight of the Fixed Income Pricing products. This includes pricing bonds, loans, and CDS securities, while improving pricing methodologies. You will be involved in cross-functional collaboration to develop and enhance pricing services.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily operations of the Fixed Income Pricing business.
Maintain and refine pricing models for various fixed income products.
Provide client support, answering questions on pricing methodologies.
Collaborate with global teams on process improvements and product development.
Assess data quality and implement process improvements.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of fixed income products such as bonds, loans, and CDS.
Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of programming languages such as SQL or VBA.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Derivatives Valuation Analyst
Position Summary:
This role focuses on providing post-trade valuation services for buy-side institutions globally. The Derivatives Valuation Analyst will handle both vanilla and exotic OTC derivatives and structured notes. You will be responsible for running valuation processes and ensuring accurate market data usage.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily and monthly valuation processes for a range of clients.
Handle and resolve price challenges in derivatives valuations.
Design and implement enhancements to valuation systems.
Build relationships with clients to promote valuation capabilities.
Required Skills:
Degree in a quantitative field with knowledge of OTC derivatives.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of market and reference datasets.
Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Fixed Income Pricing Analyst - Intern
Position Summary:
As a Fixed Income Pricing Analyst intern, you will support daily pricing activities and contribute to the development and automation of pricing services. You will gain exposure to a wide range of fixed income products while working closely with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day operations of the Fixed Income Pricing business.
Gain deep product knowledge of pricing products and speak effectively about them.
Respond to client inquiries and perform price challenges.
Monitor and adjust pricing assumptions based on market conditions.
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance data quality.
Required Skills:
Pursuing a degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of fixed income markets and products.
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL or VBA is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
