POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. This role supports strategic decision-making by transforming complex financial data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis within financial services and a passion for uncovering trends that drive business performance.

DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leverage large datasets to uncover actionable insights that drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Track campaign performance by building and maintaining dashboards to monitor KPIs like CTR, conversion rates, and ROAS.
  • Analyze customer behavior and campaign performance data to identify opportunities for improving recapture rates and enhancing customer retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to develop a profitability optimization scoring model that ensures efficient allocation of marketing spend and maximizes return on investment.
  • Excel in a team-oriented, collaborative environment while contributing to the creation, design, and implementation of value-add business strategies that affect current operating practices and company policy.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills by conveying new ideas, understanding implementation challenges, and effectively articulating insights to performance managers, operations staff, and senior leadership.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of existing business processes and reporting.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical or quantitative discipline, or related STEM field.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst in a financial environment.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Strong business communication skills with an ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task, respond well to pressure and deadlines, and work well individually and in a collaborative environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization), SQL, and tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
  • Prior work experience performing business, data, and/or statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
