About the Role

This position is responsible for the daily operations of all technology infrastructures which includes data center, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstation management, servers, storage and business-related applications. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, security standard and governance for all IT systems and infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technology support for critical components of the business by using strong communication, problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Responsible for the procurement, tracking, configuration, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or access administration of end user computing devices, related applications and peripherals (including laptops, mobile devices, workstation operating systems, and related network).
  • Responsible for the front-end user support regarding business applications supports which related to day-to-day business activities collaborate with respective application support team.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service to meet the desktop technology needs of end-users Work to proactively understand end-user computing and desktop technology needs. Take ownership of and accountability for technical issues while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolutions
  • Provide quick response and utilize problem solving skills to resolve escalated requests from the Service Desk regarding Endpoint issues/needs via telephone, email and desk-side support. Execute and/or support the imaging, installation deployment or troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, application software, IP phones, printers and peripherals (new and upgrades) on both a one-off and project basis.
  • Ensure the EUS and all relevant manuals are updated with proper versioning control in placed. User manuals must be properly tracked and reviewed by the authorized personnel timely.
  • To conduct daily check of hub room at least twice a day to monitor and to keep track of the network connectivity.
  • To monitor CCTV on daily basis and to report any suspicious scene or activity spotted immediately to CTOO.
  • To conduct a check on the access card at least on monthly basis to filter the abnormalities defined.
  • To keep track of IT inventory and to ensure information/records are always up to date.
  • Work closely with any of the team member and to back up each other at any time to ensure no daily activities and tasks are being carried out without any delay.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experiences in infrastructure and IT help desk both from the local and or MNC company.
  • Good knowledge of EUS support guideline and processes.
  • Articulate and proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Individuals keep abreast of current security threats and stay current with security technology evolution.
  • Act as resource for colleagues with less experience and direct the work of other staff member.
  • Pro-active, effective organization and supervisory skill.
  • Strong analytical, communication and consulting skills with knowledge of Information Security and related technologies.
