POSITION SUMMARY:
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, diagnosing mechanical
problems, and repairing and rebuilding equipment on or offsite. The Mechanic must provide their own tools.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems
• Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
• Perform all aspects of both tractor and trailer repairs.
• Maintain completed paperwork on equipment.
• Charging system diagnostics and repairs
• Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends or holidays.
• Ability to be on-call.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds, working in close quarters
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of our drivers first, complying with company safety policies &
• procedures.
• Basis welding skills
• Intermediate knowledge of computers
• Intermediate knowledge of hand tools/power tools.
• Ability to travel to offsite locations for repair.
• ASE certification is a plus
