Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as an Accounts Payable Analyst.

Join our Global Business Services center in Kuala Lumpur as an Accounts Payable Specialist, supporting business entities across the Asia‑Pacific region. This role is integral to ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely AP operations while contributing to process excellence and continuous improvement. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As an Accounts Payable Analyst you will: 

Operational Excellence & Payment Processing

•            Review payment proposals to ensure timely and accurate outgoing payments.

•            Manage out‑of‑cycle payments to maintain business continuity.

•            Solve errors efficiently together with Vendor Master Data, Purchasing, and invoice processing teams.

Account Management & Reconciliation

•            Prepare, understand, and review monthly account reconciliations.

•            Manage vendor open items (VOI) and Goods Receipt No Invoice (GRNI).

•            Perform timely follow‑ups to close outstanding transactions.

Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration

•            Provide extended support to suppliers and internal stakeholders on queries, issues, and escalations.

•            Participate in recurring business‑driven meetings.

•            Proactively reach out to stakeholders to drive improvements or remove process barriers.

Process Improvement & Documentation

•            Identify process gaps and propose preventive or corrective solutions.

•            Partner with invoice processors and helpdesk agents to streamline workflows.

•            Ensure up‑to‑date process documentation is maintained.

Compliance & Governance

•            Uphold compliance with organizational regulations, internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.

•            Support internal and external audits as needed.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

•            Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

•            Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a Shared Services environment.

•            Excellent command of written and spoken English

•            Prior experience supporting India as a market or working with similar regional scope is preferred

•            Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.

•            Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.

•            Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
