The Director Biopharma Commercial Execution is responsible for providing strategic and execution leadership and support to the Sales and Account Management organization. The primary objective will be to ensure seamless coordination, collaboration, and communication within the department and across other functional teams, while leading the necessary operating rhythms for optimal performance success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic objectives and priorities for the Sales and Account Management organization.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive initiative execution plan to achieve strategic goals.
- Monitor progress, identify potential roadblocks, and provide guidance to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between the Sales and Account Management organization and other departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Product, Commercial Enablement, Finance) to foster collaboration and alignment.
- Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination of initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for synergy and process improvement across teams and drive necessary changes.
3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and effectiveness of initiatives.
- Analyze data and provide regular reports to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
- Drive accountability by establishing performance targets, monitoring results, and ensuring timely corrective actions.
4. Project & Initiative Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of strategic projects within the Sales and Account Management organization.
- Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Allocate and coordinate resources, monitor progress, and proactively address any issues or risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
5. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to keep stakeholders informed about initiative progress, milestones, and outcomes.
- Facilitate effective communication between senior leadership, department heads, and team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their support and engagement in driving initiatives forward.
6. Digital Mindset Promotion:
- Foster a culture of innovation and digital transformation within the Sales and Account Management organization.
- Encourage team members to adopt a digital mindset by promoting the use of digital tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in digital sales and account management strategies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage digital channels for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Provide training and support to team members to develop their digital skills and capabilities.
- Act as a champion for digital transformation initiatives, advocating for their importance and driving adoption throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- 6+ years of proven experience in a Chief of Staff, Initiative management or similar role, preferably supporting a Sales and Account Management organization.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills, with the ability to align initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify issues, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Enthusiasm for AI and digital mindset, and ability to use various needed collaboration tools.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Remote office environment with up to 75% travel.
- Flexibility to attend meetings and events outside of standard business hours.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. $124,500 - $207,500
