Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Hydro Nordic Sub-Regional Leader, the Hydro Services Nordic Team Leader coordinates the operational and sales activities of the local Hydro Services Managers. The objective of the role is to reach the Services business objectives by securing efficient delivery of the needed services for customers in the corresponding countries.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Advocate the highest levels of safety and integrity in our teams, suppliers and customers

  • Manage the Hydro Manager Services load and distribution of activities, regularly providing the Hydro Nordic leader with detailed insights and advising on proposed solutions to best organize the activity

  • Be strongly involved in Services sales and commercial activities, being in constant contact with Services interlocutors at our Hydro customers

  • Guide the Hydro Service Managers team to maintain customer intimacy and proximity, to understand our key selling points, and to drive a proactive commercial approach to generate and capture leads

  • Deliver own’s services offers on time, competitive, focused on meeting customer requirements, with an adequate risk / reward profile

  • Guide the Hydro Service Managers team with the service sales process and use of SFDC, securing involvement of functions for smooth transfer to the OTR (Order-to-Requisition) phase for delivery

  • Lead own’s services projects ensuring efficient delivery, focusing on contractual requirements while striving for excellence in execution, knowing how to draw the attention to organize the needed support at the right point; reach customer satisfaction (VOC Voice of Customer).

  • Deliver order intake, margin, and cash targets for the own’s assigned scope.

  • Detect and shape opportunities, typically through project exposure or role assignment, to invest in people and competencies development to continuously strengthen the overall services organization

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college or relevant experience

  • Proven experience in Hydro Services

  • Very good knowledge of Hydro products, and more especially of Generators

  • Established relationships with main GEV Power Hydro customers in the sub-region

  • Very good interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership

  • Experience in managing field service and transactional activities

  • Concurrent ability to maintain structured activities and capability/flexibility to handle multiple tasks in restricted timeframes and expend discretionary effort on short notice to support urgent or emergent opportunities or customer requests,

  • Languages: Norwegian or Swedish, and English – Professional working proficiency level
