Role:  Snr Copywriter 

Location:  Prague, Czech Republic (Office presence expected at minimum 3 days per week)

 

About the role: 

As Senior Copywriter you will be taking creative projects from brief to completion, working as a part of our dedicated agency team. You’re a leader who can own your projects and execute them efficiently and effectively to deliver copywriting quality, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring that all content follows brand guidelines and channel-specific best practices and requirements.  

Candidates should have a passion for digital content and know how to incorporate the latest trends and consumer behavior into their work to ensure high-performing content for well-known brands. Youwill work as part of a team producing social media content, banner ads, videos, emails, websites, eCommerce content and more – in partnership with Associate Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Project Managers, Account leadership, and clients. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Delivering briefs from brainstorm/concepttocompletion,working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation, and execution   
  • Producing engaging and innovative work for our client’s digital, social, video, email, web and eCom channels 
    • Copywriting unique to commerce listings, EBC, and product descriptions 
    • Write concise, compelling, benefit-driven product copy. 
    • Maintains high standards of copy-writing and exercising quality control on all copy 
    • Create effective and on-brand campaign taglines and brand-positioning statements 
    • Use effective keywords to assume sales and result via eCommerce 
  • Writing creative and innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing. 
  • Writing for a wide variety of digital executions, including short and longform content. 
  • Adapting and optimizing existing content for use across various channels 
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging social, content, and cultural trends 
  • Defining or adapting brand language and tone whileadhering to brand guidelines and complying with all legal, medical, and regulatory requirements 
  • Overseeing and managing the preparation of all finished files, complying with the correct output specifications  
  • Following projects throughout all stages of production and online deployment   

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Strong experience writing for digital tactics, with 5+ years of experience 
  • Proven agency or relevant experience, CPG experience desirable, but not required 
  • The ability to think conceptually when needed. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) or in collaboration with other creative team members 
  • Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences. 
  • Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients 
  • Excellent written English and Czech, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar 
  • A self-starter with a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm to learn more 
  • Highly creative and imaginative, and able to translate client’s marketing and sales objectives into creative ideas and copy 
  • Researchers who can be up to date with trends in digital and social media and communication. 
  • Ability to effectively integrate design feedback/critique into work 
  • Experience and comfort working directly with clients as needed 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Proactive and independent, able to effectively time-manage projects 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve 
  • Strong organizational and proofreading skills. 
  • Natural, respectful collaborator across all departments and functions 
  • Conceptual ability 
  • Progressive portfolio of past work
