Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Our company is growing rapidly and is hiring an entry-level Use Case developer to support our Palantir data solutions team.   This individual will be part of a team that is using cutting edge technology to build solutions that works with large volumes of data across multiple platforms. They will partner with our team of data scientists, data gurus, and product owners to deliver products that will help drive decision making.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Participation in user interviews to understand technical and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with our data science and engineering teams to develop and implement Palantir Use Case solutions
  • Creating and managing data modeling objects
  • Analyzing data using tools like Code Workbook, Contour and Quiver
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights
  • Managing request for customer facing applications built within machine learning technologies.
  • Document and present findings to both internal and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry for data integration and analytics.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, preferably with experience in Snowflake
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

  • Hands-on experience with data science tools
  • Ability to write scripts for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, SQL, or R.
  • Problem Solving Aptitude
  • Continuously researches and evaluates emerging technologies.

Preferred: Strong background in the following areas:

  • Experience in data engineering/ETL ecosystems with Palantir Foundry, Cognizant, Python, PySpark and Java
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

  • Certifications such as Foundry Application Developer Foundry Data Analyst, Foundry Data Engineer a plus
