About the team

At Stripe, the Seller Systems team is responsible for building and maintaining the core platform and tools that power the company's suite of products and services for Stripe’s GTM teams to effortlessly sell our products. As a crucial part of Stripe's go-to-market technology stack, this team works cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless end-to-end experiences for Stripe's rapidly growing base of sellers. The Seller Systems team oversees the CRM, Legal, commerce integrations with billing and invoicing, data analytics, and workflow automation systems that enable Stripe's users to efficiently onboard, manage, and scale their relationships with Stripe. With a focus on continuous improvement and innovation, the team leverages Stripe's deep technical expertise to develop intuitive, scalable, and secure seller experiences that drive the success of Stripe's sellers worldwide.

What you’ll do

The Head of GTM/Seller Systems is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and optimization of the company's critical go-to-market technology infrastructure and systems. This role will oversee the integration, management, and continuous improvement of tools and platforms that support the sales, marketing, and customer success functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive GTM systems strategy collaborating with GTM leaders that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and growth plans
  • Have a product engineering mindset. Lead the group to build delightful products and experiences for sellers and cross functional teams at Stripe
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, integration, and maintenance of key GTM systems such as CRM, contracting, automation, sales enablement, customer success, and data/analytics platforms
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success, and finance teams to understand requirements, identify gaps, and continuously enhance the GTM technology stack
  • Optimize workflows, data integration, and reporting across the GTM systems to drive greater efficiency, visibility, and data-driven decision making
  • Establish governance, policies, and best practices for GTM systems usage and data management
  • Provide thought leadership and training to GTM teams on leveraging systems and data to improve performance
  • Manage the GTM systems team, including systems administrators, analysts, and project managers
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to innovate and modernize the GTM technology ecosystem

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing GTM systems and technologies
  • Deep expertise in Engineering, CRM, marketing automation, sales enablement, and customer success platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot etc.)
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technology solutions
  • Strong project management and change management skills
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
