Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer (Mid-Level, Senior & Expert)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring Mid-Level, Senior, and Expert Manufacturing Engineers to support our teams in Everett, WA and Portland, OR. Successful candidates will have the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate with both the engineering teams and mechanics on the factory floor. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
  • Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
  • Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems.
  • Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • Experience working in an engineering discipline.

  • Experience working in a production environment.

  • 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Mid-Level)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Senior Level)

  • 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Expert Level)

  • Experience in General Fabrication

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

  • Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950

  • Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $117,300 - $158,700

  • Summary pay range for Expert (Level 5): $142,800 - $193,200
