About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance

  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations

  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Change and Transformation Lead – Intelligent Automation Solutions

  • Intelligent Automation Intake & Governance (SPARK & Citizen Developer Workflows)

    • Oversee all Intelligent Automation ideas submitted by CIB Operations through the SPARK workflow and Citizen Developer workflow

    • Act as the single point of accountability for idea triage, prioritization, and routing (IA platform vs Citizen Development vs Tech escalation)

    • Ensure ideas are assessed for feasibility, risk, control, scalability, and efficiency impact

    • Maintain transparency on pipeline status, delivery progress, and benefits realization

  • Intelligent Automation & Transformation Delivery

    • Lead the design, delivery, and adoption of intelligent automation solutions using Alteryx, Xceptor, Power Apps, and related platforms

    • Drive change delivery, including stakeholder readiness, adoption, and transition to business‑as‑usual

    • Own and manage an enhancement pipeline focused on efficiency generation, capacity unlock, and operational risk reduction

    • Ensure solutions align with transformation objectives, control standards, and governance expectations

  • Citizen Developer Pod Management

    • Lead and oversee a pod of Citizen Developers, providing direction, prioritization, and delivery oversight

    • Ensure Citizen Developer solutions comply with governance, SDLC, risk, and control requirements

    • Review and approve solution designs, enhancements, and deployments

    • Enable capability uplift through coaching, standards, and best‑practice guidance

    • Act as the escalation point for delivery risks, dependencies, and control concerns related to Citizen Developer solutions

  • Success Measures

    • Clear, governed IA intake and delivery pipeline across CIB Operations

    • Scalable and compliant delivery of automation and Citizen Developer solutions

    • Measurable efficiency gains and capacity unlock

    • Strong stakeholder adoption and satisfaction

    • Reduced operational risk through improved controls and standardization

Job Expectations:

  • Strong experience in Capital Markets

  • Proven delivery leadership experience with Alteryx, Xceptor, Power Apps, or similar intelligent automation platforms

  • Experience governing Intelligent Automation intake pipelines and/or Citizen Developer frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex change initiatives and cross‑functional stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of Risk, Controls, and Governance expectations
