Job Description:

The terminal manager ensures daily operational activities, ensures efficient business processes, maintains company standards, and leads team of employees within a station.  The terminal manager makes work assignments, tracks progress, creates and sends operational reports, along with trouble-shooting issues that arise daily.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties required but not limited to:

  • Responsible for day-to-day AGI station operations
  • Responsible for customer relations – day to day operations and 3 - 6 month outlook
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the operational plans for our customer portfolio.
  • Partner with HR to ensure quality of new hires meets needs of position
  • Ensures training compliance and talent development
  • Responsible for employee relations including recognition and policy compliance
  • Work on all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of people
  • Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation and local laws
  • Responsible for all aspects of the location budget and total oversight of the location.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience leading team of 30+ employees
  • 5+ years’ experience with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
  • Strong knowledge of the airline and international air freight industry
  • Minimum 3 years of ramp handling and aviation operations experience
  • Proven success records in setting and achieving goals and targets
  • Good decision making, time management skills and communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with Local, Sales and Federal government agencies including suppliers
  • Knowledge of computer software such as MS Work/Excel
