This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that plans, prepares, issues, and aligns production demand with internal/external processing requirements to ensure a controlled flow of deliveries. Collaborates with Schedulers, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory, and Production Control to ensure production material and production completion dates support Program delivery expectations.
Ensures major projects, program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Intake internal customer demand including launch manifest, connect manufacturing plans with the production schedule, and incorporate constraints identified by the business.
Account for expected make/buy part availability and lead-time evaluations.
Reconcile engineering bill of materials with manufacturing bill of materials using PLM software; load demand into MRP system.
Review accuracy of demand signals and monitor execution of MRP messages.
Coordinate with Master Scheduling to ensure production schedules are used for MRP updates.
Read and understands technical documents including blueprints and schematics.
Share forecast assumptions and impacts of strategic activates with various stakeholders.
Track and report status of milestone completions back to Operations Leadership and Master Scheduling
Work closely with production team to determine needs and constraints of the manufacturing shop floor, technicians and schedules work accordingly.
Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure production and customer specifications are accurate and production schedules are timely.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS Production Management, Business Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management.
5+ years recent production control or supply chain experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
3+ years of experience loading demand to drive MRP and working with & reconciling Bills of Material.
Thorough understanding of capacity planning and bottleneck resolution.
Prior experience setting up part masters, planning parameters and executing MRP messages/signals.
Excellent written & verbal communications skills as well as advanced MS Office user.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in SQL, Tableau, Python or Power BI skills.
Windchill or other PLM software experience.
Proficient with Excel advanced formulas and Power Query functions.
Manufacturing, supplier management, or program management experience.
Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6).
Compensation Range for:
CO applicants is $87,367.50-$122,314.50;WA applicants is $95,310.00-$133,434.00Other site ranges may differ
