Head of Corporate Operations

Role Overview

The Head of Corporate Operations is a senior leadership role with direct reporting responsibility to the General Manager.

The role holds full accountability for operational excellence, team wellbeing and development, customer experience, commercial performance, vehicle availability, condition and security and critically the profitability across our key locations in Norway.

This is a highly visible leadership position requiring a “lead by example” mindset.

The successful candidate will be operationally hands-on, commercially driven, and capable of strengthening both internal and external stakeholder relationships to improve business KPI’s, drive rental numbers, and revenue growth.

The role combines operational leadership, stakeholder management, commercial performance, and innovation and ownership across the corporate network.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Commercial Leadership

  • Full operational accountability for sales, service, profitability, and overall performance.
  • Drive profitability through strong execution and performance management.
  • Track performance levels and establish clear KPIs and goals with store leadership teams.
  • Develop structured action plans and performance improvement strategies.
  • Ensure knowledge of business systems, operational processes, and compliance standards.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead by example and actively engage with the wider team.
  • Coach, develop, and upskill the store management teams to improve engagement, productivity, and service quality.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Inspire innovation across the business and secure new initiatives.
  • Support activities and internal competitions to drive sales and increase market share.

Stakeholder & Partnership Management

  • Manage and develop business relationships across the local market to promote brand visibility within communities.
  • Represent the company in the Car Rental Association and Leiebilservice forums.
  • Act as the representative for regional performance calls.
  • Manage, influence, and build relationships with senior stakeholders at a national level.
  • Network with key external individuals and organisations to create mutually beneficial partnerships.

Communication & Reporting

  • Hold monthly meetings with key stakeholders including the GM, HRBP, Revenue Management, Partnerships, Commercial Vehicles, Marketing, and Innovation teams.
  • Prepare and present a monthly performance report outlining key trends, initiatives, challenges, and commercial opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven senior leadership experience within car rental, aviation, retail, or service-driven operational environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Track record of improving operational KPIs and leading performance transformation.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management at both local and global levels.
  • Strong analytical capability combined with hands-on execution.
