The Talent Acquisition Manager for the Americas will lead recruitment strategies and execution across the Americas with responsibility for hiring in Honduras, Costa Rica, Canada, US and Mexico. This role is responsible for driving best-in-class hiring practices, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering with business leaders to attract top talent aligned with Aptiv’s growth objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Leadership: 
  • Develop and implement regional talent acquisition strategies aligned with global objectives. 
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to forecast hiring needs and plan delivery accordingly. 
  • Operational Excellence: 
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for all functions across the Americas region. 
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and Aptiv’s global policies. 
  • Drive process improvements and leverage technology for efficiency. 
  • Team Management: 
  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters across multiple countries. 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
  • Employer Branding & Candidate Experience: 
  • Work with the CoE to promote Aptiv’s employer brand in the Americas region through targeted campaigns and partnerships. 
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. 
  • Data & Analytics: 
  • Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity goals). 
  • Use data insights to optimize sourcing strategies and improve performance. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. 
  • Proven experience managing recruitment across multiple countries in the Americas. 
  • Strong knowledge of regional labor laws and compliance requirements. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Fluency in written and oral English and Spanish required.
  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry preferred. 
  • Experience with shared services model preferred.
