The role of Engagement and Annual Giving Programs (EAGP) is to build a strong and lasting connection between the university and its community, nurturing a sense of pride, belonging, and active involvement. The Senior Coordinator for Engagement & Annual Giving Programs supports the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) and the Executive Director, Operations & Marketing (ED) and manages special projects for the AVC throughout the year. The Senior Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting EAGP leadership teams and provides necessary and timely information for effective decision-making by the Associate Vice Chancellor. The Senior Coordinator will also develop and implement strategies to foster a cohesive team dynamic among the administrative professionals of EAGP.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides high-level administrative support to the Associate Vice Chancellor and the Executive Director including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reimbursement. Serves as the vital communication link to and from the EAGP team on behalf of the AVC. Discerns and prioritizes needs/requests and communicate status appropriately. Manages EAGP department-wide calendar.
- Creates and distributes agendas for EAGP Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership team meetings. Attends meetings both as a notetaker and active participant. Tracks action items through Microsoft Teams project planner and follow up with staff as needed to ensure that project deadlines are met.
- Develops and implements strategies to foster a cohesive team dynamic among the administrative professionals of EAGP. Organizes monthly meetings of the EAGP administrative professionals. Acts as a conduit between the administrative professionals and the EAGP Leadership Team, ensuring that relevant information is shared between groups. Coordinates department-wide support during busy times when teams need additional help.
- Serves as a resource for the AVC in managing special projects, which may include preparing, editing, and proofreading documents, reports, and presentations. Creates and maintains reports for the AVC. Reporting may involve data requests, formatting raw data, compiling, and storing data in an accessible drive for all parties.
- Performs other duties as assigned and in support of the department.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a complex organization.
- Experience with higher education or a not-for-profit environment.
- Office management or project management skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel to manage and organize complex data.
- Ability to foster a highly professional and welcoming office environment, along with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Demonstrated strength in organizational and project management skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines under pressure.
- Superior communication skills.
- Attention to detail, well-organized, and able to complete tasks accurately, with sensitivity to deadlines.
- Honesty, integrity, enthusiasm, and perspective; a very strong work ethic, supported by commitment and follow through.
- Multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills are important.
- Desire and ambition to work in an organization that is evolving at an accelerated pace.
- Ability to listen carefully, learn quickly, and work effectively in a complex organization.

- Knowledge of and proficiency with computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and standard office equipment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range
$25.47 - $39.49 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
