We're looking to add a senior marketing transformation leader to our team. If you're passionate about travel, making connections, working with others, and providing a world class experience for our customers, you might be perfect for our team.  This role will lead and oversee marketing transformation globally for American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT).

The Marketing Transformation Lead will play a key part in delivering our mission of Powering Progress Through Travel. You will lead a wider program of people and projects, aligned to our marketing transformation objectives.  This includes significant focus on projects linked to merger & acquisitions as well as brand and business transformation more broadly.  You will be responsible for overseeing the project management and integration to the Marketing team and advising interdependent workstreams.

This is based either at 5 Churchill Place, London with hybrid working.  Please note that this will initially be a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing transformation strategy in partnership with Marketing leadership and wider Amex GBT program teams.
  • Accountable for overall marketing transformation plan including key KPIs and milestones.
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals to achieve organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency across marketing transformation strategy, developing relationships with key stakeholders and third parties.
  • Oversee key programs linked to any future merger and acquisition activity, globally.
  • Accountable for brand and marketing transformation programs and strategic project management, including mergers, acquisitions and evolving brand strategy.
  • Play an active role in the leadership of the Global Brand & Marketing Communications team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of senior B2B markrting experience working with high profile global brands
  • Significant experience delivering marketing transformation and/or long-term marketing initiatives and projects.
  • Strong experience working in B2B, preferably in marketing strategy and/or operations.
  • Open-minded, excitement to try new tactics, and perseverance to see projects to completion.
  • Able to lead and operate effectively through periods of significant change.
  • Proven experience of delivering results in highly commercial environment.
  • International experience working with remote teams and time zones is a plus.
