Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Lead Strategic Initiatives

  • Work with stakeholders to create, execute and participate in projects to drive for yield improvement.

  • Lead projects/activities with strong technical leadership in collaboration with fab, TD, PE, and GQ.

  • Develop BKM’s, identify their KPI’s and training documentation

• Yield modelling / pareto benchmarking

  • Identify actional opportunities from cross-fab pareto benchmarking

  • Develop and improve Yield Models for Dram, NAND and SXP technologies

  • Maintain and improve methodologies to set targets for yield program (5-bucket, detractor targets)

  • Periodically improve models based on actual performance

  • Interact and Involve MPUP BP to document yield curve changes on different part types in production

• BKM Deployment

  • Develop BKM’s for YE and drive implementation

  • Lead YE SWAT team to identify/align BKMs and monitor implementation

  • Works with different teams in the identification of KPIs and with WFD on training material

• Partner closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful communication and cooperation for project implementation.

• Manage priorities and enhancements to improve business processes and existing systems that are global in nature

• Self-motivated. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Able to travel as required to support department and company objectives.

Requirement and Technical Competency:

• Experience in PIE. Understanding of Process/Product Integration will be advantageous;

• Proficiency in data analytical tools such as Y3, JMP, Python to perform numerical experiment. Proficiency in Statistical/Machine Learning will be additional advantageous;

• In depth knowledge of processes, equipment and control system;

• Proven ability to make decisions, multi-task, and troubleshoot problems and address root causes.

• Exhibit critical thinking to identify opportunities.

• PhD/Masters/Bachelors with relevant course of study or experience

• Willingness to work during non-standard hours when needed to provide support to engineering teams at any Micron site.

• Strong growth mindset and willing to continue to learn, unlearn, relearn.
