The role
Key responsibilities
The Senior Account Executive role in our travel vertical is a senior hire in the business and will help Modulr drive vital penetration in the travel market and specifically virtual card issuance. From an extensive background in this market, we are looking for someone who can instantly hit the ground running by quickly understanding the Modulr travel product proposition and take it to market at pace. As an individual contributor, your success will be measured by the value of new logos signed and revenue generated from new Travel customers.
The successful Senior Account Executive will play a significant role in contributing and helping inform the travel vertical strategy to ensure Modulr continues to iterate on the best approach to market.

The team
You will report into VP Enterprise Sales (or Chief Commercial Officer in the interim), along with initially 3 other Sales Directors, 3 Solution Consultants and 7 Sales Development Reps. The Enterprise Sales team reports into the Chief Commercial Officer, alongside Account Management and SMB Business Payments teams.
About you
The successful Senior Account Executive will have a track-record in delivering results in a scaling and fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.
