As a Managed IT Services Modern Workplace Engineer, you will work directly with our highly trained consultants and have access to a large cross-section of client environments that develop your IT career.

Many of the job responsibilities required of a Managed IT Services Modern Workplace Engineer are directly related to providing superior support for client technology environments. Examples of assignments include:

• Capturing client requirements
• Infrastructure operations and management
• Adopting and learning new technologies
• Performing Enterprise Administration and Engineering tasks
• Troubleshooting business application issues
   

Basic Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience with Windows 10, Windows Server, server management, and general networking
• Proven experience with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, NTFS, and other common Windows server functions
• Proven experience with Office 365 user, mailbox, and policy administration
• Expertise in email flow troubleshooting including spam filtering, quarantine, public DNS records and other related services
• Comfortable with Microsoft On-Prem Exchange management
• Understanding and troubleshooting experience with email smart hosts
• Comfortable with Microsoft SharePoint or SharePoint Online management and troubleshooting
• Familiar with Azure AD management
• M365 MFA and Conditional Access Policies
• Microsoft Teams support is a plus
• Experience in large, complex environments with multiple locations
• Familiar with standard IT practices and policies
• Familiar with IT service management tools and processes (helpdesk, ticketing, etc.)
• Eagerness to contribute
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• MSP Experience
• Familiarity with PowerBI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Intune Deployments and Troubleshooting
• Exchange patch and service pack management
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
• Strong presentation, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to balance priorities
