What you will do:
Review and approve all Subject Matter Lead (SML) decisions related to deformation In-line Inspection (ILI) tool inspections including required pressure restrictions, field assessment and remediation activities, and safety of continued operations.
Assist in the advocacy of Enbridge deformation management to achieve acceptance from regulatory agencies and the public.
Provide deformation domain expert support for audits, failure investigation, engineering assessments.
Ensure deformation assessment procedures and work instructions meet with regulatory requirements and industry standard methodologies.
Lead focus projects related to the deformation program and develop deformation program roadmap.
Who you are:
Engineering degree.
Registration or eligibility for registration as a P. Eng. with APEGA.
7 years of related experience minimum, 10 years is preferred.
Previous experience in pipeline integrity, and non-destructive inspection techniques.
Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving abilities.
The ability to mentor junior colleagues and accomplish objectives through delegation.
Effective interpersonal skills that include:
Influencing others and gain agreement, dedication, and engagement.
Presenting technical concepts to a wide variety of partners (such as senior management and regulatory bodies).
Developing and maintain quality relationships with industry peers.
Working Conditions:
Office based role with occasional requirements to travel to field excavations, industry committees/conferences, vendor facilities, regulatory offices, and other locations as appropriate up to 5%.
