What you will do:

  • Review and approve all Subject Matter Lead (SML) decisions related to deformation In-line Inspection (ILI) tool inspections including required pressure restrictions, field assessment and remediation activities, and safety of continued operations.

  • Assist in the advocacy of Enbridge deformation management to achieve acceptance from regulatory agencies and the public.

  • Provide deformation domain expert support for audits, failure investigation, engineering assessments.

  • Ensure deformation assessment procedures and work instructions meet with regulatory requirements and industry standard methodologies.

  • Lead focus projects related to the deformation program and develop deformation program roadmap.
     

Who you are:

  • Engineering degree.

  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a P. Eng. with APEGA.

  • 7 years of related experience minimum, 10 years is preferred.

  • Previous experience in pipeline integrity, and non-destructive inspection techniques.

  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving abilities.

  • The ability to mentor junior colleagues and accomplish objectives through delegation.

  • Effective interpersonal skills that include:

    • Influencing others and gain agreement, dedication, and engagement.

    • Presenting technical concepts to a wide variety of partners (such as senior management and regulatory bodies).

    • Developing and maintain quality relationships with industry peers.
       

Working Conditions:

  • Office based role with occasional requirements to travel to field excavations, industry committees/conferences, vendor facilities, regulatory offices, and other locations as appropriate up to 5%.
