Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team in in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
Security database updates within the Security Information Management System (SIMS)
Access to DISS for clearance verification for SCI and/or SAP processing
Assist the site Industrial Security Team and programs as needed
Training development (specific to program needs/requirements)
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of Security experience with Bachelor's; OR 3 years with Master’s OR an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in Foreign Military Sales Contracts, Offsets, and collaboration with foreign disclosure office.
Prior experience leading proposal efforts: writing Basis of Estimates, Labor forecasting, SOW review
Prior experience with ITAR/Export compliance
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers
Working knowledge of Corporate and Govt. systems: NISS & SIMS
Experience supporting manufacturing facility
Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
OPSEC Level II certification, Security+ certification
Familiarity with Agile Systems Engineering processes
