The Senior Project Manager is accountable for project execution, client satisfaction, and team coordination across all project phases.

Job Description

What you will do:

• Lead high-voltage electrical utility projects end-to-end.
• Manage engineering, delivery, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure projects meet contractual, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Deliver customer-facing EPC/turnkey projects.
• Coordinate teams across multiple business functions.
• Use project-planning tools for scheduling and risk management.
• Maintain project budgets and control costs.
• Handle contract terms, variations, and client obligations.
• Apply technical and quality-assurance standards.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
• Communicate clearly in English and French with clients and stakeholders.
• Prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Make timely decisions to resolve project issues.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and service quality across all phases.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

What you will bring:​

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical).
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3–5 years in a senior project manager role.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale EPC/turnkey projects (preferably HV substations, power, utilities, or industrial projects).
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and contract management.
• Proficiency in project planning tools .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
• Strong French and English oral and written communications skills.

 

What will make you stand out:

• Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in managing high voltage electrical utility project
• Previous responsibility for projects or programs involving multiple businesses and/or functions  across the entire project cycle  - development and design through manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning and test acceptance.
• Ability to manage external, customer-facing projects to successful completion.
• Ability to apply advanced technical, engineering, and quality assurance concepts to solve practical business problems.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service quality in all aspects of project delivery.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long and short-term projects simultaneously.
• PMI certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with contractual terms and experience managing customer-facing contracts.
