Vanguard is seeking a Senior Marketing Engagement Strategist to lead integrated, data-driven marketing campaigns that deepen audience engagement and drive business results. This role partners with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize omni-channel strategies, leveraging analytics and best practices. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and expertise in customer journeys and marketing technology platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute complex, data-driven marketing strategies that align with business objectives and audience needs. 

  • Lead omni-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and seamless experiences across all touchpoints. 

  • Oversee campaign activations for multiple offers or objectives, ensuring alignment with macro strategy and organizational goals. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Public Site, Channel Strategy, Creative Strategy, and Analytics. 

  • Use data and analytics to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and measure performance. 

  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders, providing updates on campaign status, risks, and solutions. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive cross-functional alignment. 

  • Champion best practices and support the advancement of the Engagement Strategy discipline within Personal Investor Marketing.

Who we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, campaign planning, or audience engagement, preferably in a large or matrixed organization. 

  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience using data to drive marketing strategy. 

  • Deep understanding of customer journeys and personalization techniques. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics) is a plus. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred. 

Additional information:

This is a hybrid position based in Malvern, PA, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.
