Raytheon Advanced Product & Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Program Manager, Senior Manager – EOIRS AES Capital. This role calls for a dynamic leader eager to operate within a fast-moving, evolving portfolio that is entering the production and sustainment phase concurrent with development. Your primary responsibilities will be focused on managing capital projects to enable sufficient production and sustainment capacity, capability insertion, and capability demonstrator assets to support Advanced EO/IR Solutions products and business capture. This role will include direct interaction with many cross-functional internal stakeholders at varying levels, including but not limited to Operations, Engineering, Digital Technology, Facilities, Finance, and Supply Chain. Additional responsibilities will include briefing execution progress at periodic management reviews (including latest schedule and cost projections/deltas), preparing and briefing appropriations request packages for each capital project, and generating estimates and any associated revisions for each capital project. The successful candidate will lead through strong cross-functional engagement, partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Mission Assurance, Supply Chain, and Finance, to execute overall capital management with rigor. A demonstrated ability to manage financial performance, including cost, schedule, and investment trade-offs is essential.

This role is onsite in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do

  • Accountability for managing within capital investment AOP and LRP for the portfolio
  • Directs the cross-functional team supporting the product line to meet established targets and metrics
  • Identifies and reacts to problems and supports solutions, such as allocation of resources and operational execution.
  • Supports annual 5-year LRP, monthly execution progress briefings, and financial forecast updates for the business
  • Supervises the appropriate use of all allocated resources to maximize efficiency
  • Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements and Raytheon’s Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM)
  • Domestic travel approximately 10-25% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience managing, tracking, and/or reporting metrics through EAC review and Program Management Reviews
  • Experience managing efforts on cost and on schedule
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience generating BOEs and soliciting/receiving cross-functional BOEs/inputs

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Program Management Level 4 Certification or ability to obtain within one year
  • Demonstrated experience collaboratively and rapidly coming up with solutions in uncharted territory where standard playbooks don’t exist
  • Experience developing briefings and presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience leading profit and loss related activities of DoD contracts as a program manager
  • Working knowledge of capital management, execution, and planning processes
  • Industrial Engineering experience including capacity analysis and interfacing with factory and facilities stakeholders
  • Experience managing programs transitioning from development to LRIP or production
  • Experience in executing and meeting Long Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
