We have a role open for a Software Engineer to join us and help to maintain and improve the data management platform/pipelines for 3rd partners’ data and provide high-quality and trusted data about our competitors.
This is a great opportunity to have an impact and understand how competitor data gets from 3rd-party vendors and data insights help business stakeholders (BAR and Commercial) understand our competitors to report and take action.
 
What will you do:
  • Maintain and improve the current data management platform by using innovative technologies, from Python and Spark to AWS and Databricks.
  • Handle data ingestion and data quality verification of vendors, promptly report data quality issues to suppliers, and track issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with other teams and vendors to finalize data collection requirements and align technical details for data integration.
  • Work with other engineers and businesses to help evolve how Skyscanner works with data.
  • Process and enhance large data sets, solving complex business problems and improving our products.
