Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology, the leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry, currently has an opening for a Driver Sales Representative!

As the Driver Sales Representative, you will be involved with aftermarket sales, and will be responsible for promoting service exchange, component repair, and spare parts offerings in order to increase market share and territory sales. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES            

  • Being responsible for a scheduled delivery of products
  • Routing truck deliveries to local customer base
  • Tracking and recovering exchange cores
  • Soliciting repair business at local customer base
  • Tracking and inventory count of consignment inventory
  • Processing POD’s for deliveries and repair orders for cores brought in for repair
  • Collaborate with Parts, Sales, and Service Representative, as well as, Customer Account Managers to identify and initiate new business opportunities in aftermarket sales 
  • Complete and adhere to all company and customer EHS training policies and procedures 

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous sales experience in a related industry would be a strong plus
  • Previous driver experience
  • Knowledge of Sandvik products would be a plus

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent

LICENCES & CERTIFICATES

  • Valid driver’s license along with a safe driving record is required.
  • Candidates must be able to pass DOT certifications required to operate delivery vehicles and lift and carry a maximum of 50 lbs.

  • Overtime may be required to meet customer requirements.
