Bullish, a leading regulated digital asset exchange, and CoinDesk Indices & Data, the premier provider of institutional-grade digital asset indices and market data, are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Event Manager. This pivotal role will be responsible for strategically planning, developing, and executing a comprehensive events program that elevates the brands, drives business objectives, fosters community engagement, and showcases the innovation of both Bullish Exchange and CoinDesk Indices & Data.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Event Manager will lead the end-to-end management of all events, from large-scale industry conferences and executive roundtables to intimate client gatherings, virtual webinars and strategic partner activations. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the digital assets and traditional finance landscapes, a proven track record of delivering impactful events, and the ability to seamlessly integrate event strategies with overall marketing and business development goals.
Note: This role is required to work onsite at our office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute a holistic event strategy aligned with the business objectives of Bullish Exchange and CoinDesk Indices & Data, including brand awareness, lead generation, client acquisition/retention, thought leadership, and community building.
Program Development: Conceptualize, design, and manage a diverse portfolio of events, including but not limited to:
o Large-scale conferences: Participation in and/or sponsoring of major industry events (e.g., Consensus, industry-specific summits).
o Proprietary events: Designing and executing bespoke events to showcase product launches, research findings, and executive insights.
o Client & Partner Engagements: Creating impactful experiences for current and prospective clients, partners, and institutional investors.
o Webinars & Virtual Events: Developing and delivering engaging online content and interactive sessions.
o Internal Events: Supporting internal team-building and strategic gatherings.
Budget Management: Develop, manage, and optimize event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strong ROI for all initiatives.
Vendor & Partner Management: Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with external vendors, venues, technology providers, and strategic partners to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, product, research, and leadership teams to ensure event content, messaging, and goals are aligned with broader company initiatives.
Content & Speaker Management: Collaborate with internal experts and external thought leaders to curate compelling event agendas and secure high-caliber speakers.
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
6+ years of progressive experience in event management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role, ideally within financial services, fintech, or the digital assets industry.
Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and measuring the impact of a wide range of events, from large-scale conferences to intimate executive gatherings.
Deep understanding of the unique conference and event structure and cadence of the digital asset industry.
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing large event budgets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovate, and adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.
Proficiency in event management software and CRM systems.
Willingness to travel extensively as required for events.

Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position in New York, NY is $130,000 - $175,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
