Are you a highly experienced and ambitious professional looking for a unique opportunity to lead Procurement acquisitions and divestitures? You will play a pivotal role in driving our Procurement strategy and ensuring flawless execution of the contracting & supplier transition workstream during acquisitions and divestitures. You will co-create and advance the A&D capabilities and services and support the definition & implementation of the Procurement return on investment value for deals across the portfolio. This role will contribute to innovative solutions to accelerate and optimize the value of the transaction. The candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver value commitments & business outcomes for the transaction.

The A&D Integration Manager executes eMarketplace/end-to-end procurement training along with supplier integration strategy for acquisitions and divestitures, ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding of supplier master data, supplier communications, purchase order (PO) cutover activities,  eMarketplace processes and other Procurement related activities as needed. The role supports both acquisition and divestiture projects globally, collaborating closely with Procurement, Global Services, and business stakeholders to ensure business continuity and compliance during transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Acquisitions/Divestitures
Supplier Master Data:

  • Gather and track supplier data for onboarding into APEX
  • Manage the supplier add process from data receipt through supplier ID issuance.
  • Develop and improve supplier integration metrics; analyze and report results.
  • Acquire and validate supplier master data for transfer to the buyer.

Supplier Communications:

  • Lead interactions with suppliers and internal business partners.
  • Manage supplier contact information and communication inbox.
  • Execute supplier communication strategy and templates.
  • Develop and execute supplier communication strategy for separation.
  • Manage supplier communication inbox and ensure timely responses.

PO Cutover:

  • Identify and maintain the list of POs requiring cutover to J&J systems.
  • Fill data gaps and ensure readiness for Day 1 operations.
  • Lead communications related to PO cutover for suppliers and business teams.
  • Maintain list of POs to be transitioned to the buyer.
  • Deliver training to end users and suppliers on new processes and systems; create training materials

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required in a relevant field of study (e.g. Business, Supply Chain), preferably complemented by MBA or other master’s qualification.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience, including within the Procurement function.
  • A minimum of 1 year of J&J Procurement category, spend and supplier management experience, preferably in Indirect Services.
  • Strong business knowledge, financial savvy, and a deep understanding of Procurement contracting & supplier processes and technology.
  • Must have a proven track record of effective leadership and influencing within a global environment across multiple businesses and complex initiatives.
  • Strong project & program management, change management, problem solving skills with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Successful ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating learning agility.
  • Partner effectively and influence at all levels, including senior executive leadership and peers within and outside the function and outside J&J.
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., APEX, eMarketplace).
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management capabilities.
  • Experience in supplier enablement, contracting, and PO management.
  • Familiarity with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures processes.
  • This position can be located in either New Brunswick, New Jersey; Raritan, New Jersey; Titusville, New Jersey; Prague; Bogota, Columbia; or Tampa Florida and may require up to 5%-15% national and international travel based on deals.

Preferred:

  • Deep understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management, Supplier Management, Sourcing & Contracting, R2P).
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, licensing, partnerships, divestitures or other structures.
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Developed leadership capabilities and critical thinking skills, as well as attention to detail and ability to effectively assimilate and communicate complex information from multiple sources.
