Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the unique requirements of various projects and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with different stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and provide seamless user experiences. The engineer actively participates in refining application functionalities and adapting configurations to evolving business demands, ensuring that the software remains robust and efficient throughout its lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palantir Foundry, MySQL, Python (Programming Language), PySpark.
- Strong experience in application design and development using Palantir Foundry platform capabilities.
- Ability to write efficient and maintainable code in Python and PySpark for data processing and integration tasks.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and expertise in MySQL for data management and querying.
- Experience in configuring and customizing software applications to meet complex business requirements.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and collaborative tools to support team workflows.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Palantir Foundry.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
