About This Opportunity

Join UQ’s International team and play a key role in engaging prospective students worldwide! We’re looking for a skilled marketing professional to manage the development of high-quality international marketing materials and newsletters. This role ensures all touchpoints reflect UQ’s brand excellence and effectively connect with diverse audiences.
 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end project management of all international marketing collateral production including concept design, copy writing and editing for: Annual International Study Guides as well as other promotional materials (e.g. flyers, video and static assets)

  • End-to-end production of UQ International agent and partner newsletters

  • Strategically plan, write, edit, adapt, and proofread content across all marketing touchpoints (including UQ International advertisements, editorials, profiles, and promotional materials) across various mediums such as copy, imagery, and video. Ensure all content aligns with brand style guidelines and is optimised for each channel.

  • In collaboration with the Campaign team, develop a content calendar and produce all content requirements.

  • Coordinate all language translation and typesetting as required.

  • Liaise with external agencies for the development of specific content as required.

About You 

  • Qualifications equivalent to an undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field or equivalent experience.

  • At least four years’ relevant work experience.

  • Proven expertise in writing and editing international marketing materials, with a strong ability to craft clear, engaging, and accessible content in plain English.

  • Proven experience producing brochures, newsletters and promotional materials.

  • Exceptional proofreading skills with an attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills, including the ability to balance competing priorities and work within tight deadlines to achieve work goals.

  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to develop relationships with staff at all levels and work collaboratively.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work independently and take initiative within a collaborative team.
