Job Summary We are looking for experienced API & Integration Leads to join our API Management practice. The ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in Kubernetes and API development, with a strong understanding of modern integration patterns. Hands-on experience in Kong platform setup and deployment is mandatory. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and implementation of scalable API solutions using Kubernetes and modern frameworks. • Drive integration architecture across cloud and hybrid environments. • Define and enforce API governance, security, and lifecycle management. • Promote adoption of Kong and other APIM tools (Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers. • Support client engagements, solutioning, and proposal development. • Lead platform setup, deployment automation, and environment configuration for Kong. Required Skills • Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Kong platform setup and deployment. • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring). • Proficiency in API development using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC. • Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and DevOps practices. • Familiarity with API security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, API keys). • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns. Good to Have • Experience with other APIM platforms like Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway. • Exposure to service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd). • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP). Qualifications • Manager: 12+ years of experience in integration and API development. • Associate Manager: 8+ years of experience in integration and API development. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
