Purpose of the Job

The global startup Analytics and performance management team is looking for a motivated Performance management and analytics Specialist who will be responsible for meeting the reporting and analytics needs of key business functions through development of Power BI reports and data models. The specialist should be able to develop intuitive dashboards with good data storytelling and develop reports that users can use to read and retain information

The specialist should also be able to recommend good UI/UX designs and will support team by developing Advanced Power BI reports essential for performance management by using DAX and Power Query wherever necessary. The specialist should be able to get data via flatfiles, XLSX and other data sources and perform data transformation using Python to help the team effectively create standard reporting solutions

Requirements

Education

Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

Work Experience

Minimum of 6 years professional experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience on Power BI and Python

Specific Knowledge/Skills

• Fluent in Power BI, DAX and Power Query
• Advanced skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Working knowledge of UI/UX design to be able to implement interactive dashboards
• Should be able to form good narrative (story telling) using their visualization capabilities
• Good to have- ERP systems experience such as SAP

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong understanding of procurement or IT processes
• Good to have knowledge of supply chain management and logistics
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal business partners to meet organizational capacity needs
