KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provides for daily activities and work processes that result in quality outcomes by through clinical supervision and oversight to Mental Health Clinicians as required by state regulations.
Confers with team members regularly regarding techniques used, treatment progress, and related matters for promoting and evaluating the professional development of team members, and assuring quality of care, as well as reviewing work in progress.
Review Initial Evaluations, Treatment Plans, Discharge Summaries, Patient-Staffing Reports and clinical documentation as required by state regulations.
Accountable the day-to-day oversight of the outpatient behavioral health clinics. The incumbent will conduct analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions.
Supports and sustains mission, vision and values by helping employees understand their job.
Leads staff and models behavior and service standards ensuring service expectations are understood by the team and staff is properly trained.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensures consistent application of departmental and system policies and procedures.
Performs a variety of direct clinical, diagnostic, treatment, and outreach services.
Maintains current knowledge of evidence-based practice for mental health therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist required.
Experience: Knowledge of current models of mental health therapy. Previous work as a therapist or counselor required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Climate controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the clinic campus
Interaction with department members and other healthcare providers
Position requires compliance with department specific competencies.
