Preferred Qualifications:
This position will add to the capabilities of Austin Fire's Emergency Planning section. The Temporary Emergency Planning Coordinator will work closely with, and under the guidance, of the current civilian emergency planning manager. Critical job roles will include:
Salary Range: $71,630.00 - $90,980.00
Days and Hours:
Monday – Friday.
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Hours may vary due to operational needs. Night and weekend work may also be required based on EOC (Emergency Operations Center) activation and other business needs.
Telework: This position will include limited telework opportunities after an initial training period, and based on AFD needs, such as EOC (Emergency Operations Center) activation.
