Dr. Domotor’s Animal House is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team.  This busy 3-doctor hospital has a dedicated team of Registered Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Support Specialists to provide exceptional care to the dogs and cats in the surrounding community. 

Sign-on Bonus up to $2000!  Relocation Assistance Available for Qualified Candidates!

• Salary: $28.00 – 35.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
• Additional Incentives: $1000 continuing education allowance with paid CE days, License reimbursement
• Schedule: Full-time, Five 8-hour shifts per week. Some Saturday coverage is required.  Closed Sunday and Major Holidays.

Who You Are:

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in California, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
• 2 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to perform complete dental prophylaxis with radiographs
• Skilled in IV Catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splints
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care
• Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation; Idexx laboratory equipment
• Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
• And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law
