As a member of the Brand Maker Studio team, you will be instrumental in building the Snapchat brand, and crafting best-in-class marketing materials for a wide range of audiences that help celebrate our latest products, features and company developments.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and define our brand and design systems across each of our active markets.

  • Lead the development and execution of high priority projects from start to finish.

  • Lead a diverse mix of internal, and external partners to create best-in-class marketing campaigns across a wide range of verticals, disciplines and markets.

  • Ideate and execute new creative ways to visually communicate new products, features and company developments to the world.

  • Lead and mentor fellow creatives on the team, helping to both manage their output and develop, nurture and grow their talent

  • Help to grow, develop and define the team's creative culture.
     

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Able to lead a diverse creative team efficiently and effectively towards a common objective.

  • Able to think conceptually and transition creative ideas into thoughtful and well crafted design work.

  • Present and sell through your team’s creative work in compelling and effective ways to a large cross functional team and executive stakeholders.

  • Manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to make quick, high-quality decisions based on evolving project needs and creative goals.

  • Work in a clear and thoughtful manner and be able to articulate the strategic thinking behind your creative process.

  • Have a deep understanding of design and marketing processes.

  • Thrive in a collaborative environment, but can also work autonomously with strong time management skills.

  • Have a passion for storytelling through design

  • Highly curious and interested in exploring and discovering new creative formats that help drive business impact

  • Manage and nurture collaborative working relationships with cross functional stakeholders across varying verticals, disciplines and markets.


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience working in design

  • Hands-on creative with demonstrable experience working as a designer (in-house, freelance or agency)

  • Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem 

  • Proficient working with Keynote and Figma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specific expertise in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop

  • Experience working in a Google Docs lead project environment a plus

  • Frame.io knowledge a plus

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $144,000-$217,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $129,000-$194,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
