Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Supply Chain Management)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in North Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages internal Purchase Orders from start to finish: Enters Purchase Orders, coordinates all schedule improvements/slides, engaging appropriate stakeholder to resolve complex issues, ensuring BCA PO’s are shipping on time.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships and partnerships with Internal Customers, Peers, Engineering, Supplier Management, and other support functions.
  • Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholder to fulfill stocking strategies
  • Assist in managing supply and demand, supplier quality and On Time Delivery Performance
  • Participates in cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex issues pertaining to schedule slides, detail shortages, engineering revisions and other supply chain issues impacting on time delivery.
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply, optimizing execution of the supply chain while balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
  • Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
  • Engage in cross-functional communications to provide status updates for external customers
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Must be self-driven and able to ask questions in a team environment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Able to work both independently and also in a collaborative team environment
  • Able to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Customer service experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working as a Supply Chain Specialist

Summary pay range: $83,700 - $97,650
