Be part of a fast-paced Learning and Development team that focuses on quality deliverables, teamwork, knowledge sharing and attention to details. Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning experiences that align with Darwin’s strategic goals and support our internal employees’ growth as well as deliver high standards training materials for our clients. This role requires collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create training solutions that enhance performance and drive business results.

What you need to have: 

  • Proven experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate or technology-driven environment. (+3 years)
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
  • Proficiency with elearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud suite or similar.
  • Proficiency in applying branding guidelines to specific materials.
  • General knowledge of AI design tools.
  • Basic understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging learning materials; strong SME communication skills.
  • Solid self management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and learner outcomes.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

What can you expect?

  • Conduct needs analysis assessments to identify learning gaps and organizational training requirements.
  • Design and develop instructional materials for various delivery methods including elearning, virtual platform simulations, videos and blended learning.
  • Create clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with learning principles
  • Develop storyboards, course content, assessments, and facilitator guides.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, interactive activities, and simulations to enhance learner engagement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deploy learning programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; recommend improvements.
  • Stay current with instructional design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve learning solutions.

What makes you stand out?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree.
  • Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and accessibility standards.
  • Learning and Design course portfolio.
  • Use of multimedia, interactivity, gamification, and novel instructional strategies to enhance learner engagement and retention.
  • Precision in content development, editing, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and clarity.
