RESPONSIBILITIES

(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):

  • The Collateral Escalation Analyst role is for top-tiered experienced personnel. Handles numerous correction request working with minimal direction, skilled experience, ability to work independently.
  • Receives request from multiple teams within the Post-Closing department and Secondary.
  • Quickly and thoroughly review any discrepancies and determine if corrections are required. Alert other teams if changes impact them.
  • Obtain corrected documents from closing team, review and confirm accuracy of all information, coordinate signing and return of the package.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to successfully communicate on the phone and email with parties including borrowers, loan officers, closing agents, mobile notary company and any Movement Mortgage employee to ensure the loan is complaint.
  • Manage a large pipeline of open exceptions. Track all corrections and update progress in LOS and any other systems required.
  • Can also coordinate, file, and scan documents pertaining to the Post Closing department.
    • Open mail, receives closing packages, processes and ship notes and enotes and stores documents as needed.
    • Handles shredding process for stored Closing packages.
  • Provides daily updates to Team Lead and/or Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

(To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this job.)

  • Strong organization skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and handle complex tasks.
  • Ability to multitask; effectively handling different processes throughout the day.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage banking and mortgage documentation
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, ability to use and understand LOS and Excel
  • Strong communication skills with ability to successfully communicate with internal and external customers/investors/mortgage lending partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in the Mortgage industry
  • Preferred experience in closing or post-closing
  • Preferred experience in resolving complicated mortgage documentation issues.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

  • High School diploma

The expected salary range for this position is between:

$44,800.00 - $64,500.00

The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
