Position Summary

Join a team responsible for developing and executing network and mail pricing at CVS Health, a Fortune company.  As a Manager (Individual Contributor), you will lead the build and submission of pricing outputs for new and renewing PBM clients, supporting all delivery systems and adjudication platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, analyze, and submit pricing outputs for client renewals and new business across all lines of business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, IT, Implementations, Benefits, and department leaders, as well as directly with clients, to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing business support.
  • Manage projects to meet aggressive timelines and revenue goals, using strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Provide technical expertise in claims adjudication, business rules, network structures, and testing support.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting using advanced MS Excel functions (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Design and improve standard operating procedures and tools to enhance team efficiency and turnaround times.
  • Resolve complex challenges through effective communication and relationship-building with internal and external partners.

Advanced experience in the development of standard operating procedures and tools to improve team efficiency and turn-around-times are needed. Additional expertise in interpersonal, relationship and communications are also essential to resolve unique challenges encountered day to day to maintain client satisfaction.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operational experience within PBM or Health Care industry


Preferred Qualifications

Industry and Technical Experience:

  • 8+ years PBM or Health Care industry experience
  • Knowledge of network programs and procedures, including retail pharmacy operations and claims adjudication
  • Intermediate to advance Microsoft Access database experience
  • Intermediate to advance proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and reporting tools

Project and Operations Management:

  • Proven project management knowledge or hands-on experience managing multiple projects
  • Operations experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven environments
  • Strong time management skills with accountability for multiple, staggered deliverables

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Advanced interpersonal skills, with a record of successful cross-team collaboration
  • Effective communication skills - able to convey information clearly in both formal and informal settings, written and verbal, at all organizational levels


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $132,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
