As an ACS Account Executive supporting the Canadian public sector, you will play a critical role in driving customer success and expanding Adobe’s subscription and custom professional services footprint within government organizations across Canada. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering strategic guidance to drive adoption of subscription offerings such as Ultimate Success, Integrated Services, Premium Learning, while also identifying and closing new custom services opportunities tailored to the unique needs of government entities. This is a quota-carrying role that combines consultative solutioning with proactive sales engagement.


Responsibilities

Customer Success & Solutioning

  • Partner with license sellers to position subscription value and align custom services to the business objectives of clients.
  • Deliver tailored presentations, value summaries, and success plans to accelerate adoption and increase customer return on investment.
  • Support presales solutioning and estimation for services engagements.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless handoff from sales to delivery.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive net-new services bookings by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities within assigned Canadian government accounts.
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives, with a focus on public sector growth.
  • Lead negotiation, contracting, and approval processes for services deals, ensuring alignment with government procurement policies.
  • Work closely with field sales and solution architects to craft compelling proposals and account strategies for public sector clients.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with Canadian government customers by understanding their business goals and aligning Adobe services offerings to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Support account planning and manage customer issues as needed.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting using CRM tools, with attention to public sector reporting requirements.
  • Track and report performance metrics for deals and partnerships within the Canadian government sector.
  • Leverage internal resources and professional networks to uncover new opportunities and expand influence within government accounts.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, consulting, or customer success, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota, preferably in the public sector or government environment.
  • Strong understanding of subscription models, SaaS, and professional services sales, with experience in the Canadian public sector strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud or similar enterprise-level solutions, and knowledge of Canadian government technology standards and procurement processes.
  • Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, SaaS, and cloud-based offerings relevant to government clients.
  • High intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and public sector trends.
