What do you do?
In this role, you will be responsible for enabling our Category Managers and PEC Buyers with an effective execution of our Category Strategy, by streamlining our RFQs processes, driving automation and performing meaningful analyses, while learning the category and preparing yourself for increased roles within our organization. Additionally, this role will support Market Dynamic analysis and research relevant market insights for our stakeholders.
How will you do it?
o Collect, mine information across a variety of JCI systems to effectively build and execute RFQ and market assessments, using the direction provided by the PEC Buyer and the Category Manager.
o Configure and execute eRFQ/eAuction post events within JCI’s preferred eRFQ tool, including initial supplier setup, monitoring the RFQ, receiving, consolidating proposals and other related activities.
o Support Market Intelligence activities, economics measurement, and putting together meaningful reports for different levels of stakeholders.
o Support our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) activities and loading and/or updating contracts in Ariba, ensuring contract effectiveness.
o Support Supply Business Continuity (SBC) by deploying actions such as Financial Assessments, Sustainability Surveys, ensuring contracts are executed, among others.
o Build and maintain a Master Supplier Contact repository for all Indirect.
o Supports the configuration and execution of correct taxonomy of the category's spend along with the buyer and the CM (ESR spend).
o PO Management for related sub-categories needs
Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree in related field.
o 1-2 years of relevant experience in Indirect Procurement. Prior experience in MRO/FM, Professional Services, Logistics it's a plus
o Good understanding of RFP and RFQ process. General understanding of a Source-To-Pay process.
o Strong MS Office and advanced excel or VBA skills required.
o Microsoft Power Apps (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or other data tools preferred.
o Strong analytical skills and business judgment.
o Given the global nature of the role, candidates must show strong English written and communication skills.
o APICS training or certification is a plus.
o Proven experience working with KPIs and metrics
o Ability to drive continuous improvement, by identifying opportunities, streamlining processes and utilizing Lean/Quality tools to reduce waste and maximize throughput.
o Capability to learn and understand the business and the assigned categories, to develop business judgment, which will allow the candidate to better execute and generate value for JCI.
