College Intern – Industrial Digital Print, Product & Solution Operations

What a College Intern – Industrial Digital Print, Product & Solution Operations does at HP:

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product team, Segment leads, and Sales teams to align operations
  • Contribute to technical and commercial discussions related to industrial print solutions
  • Lead improvements projects in processes and tools used by the team and our interfaces
  • Communicate findings, proposals, and recommendations to management

Project Management and Process Improvement

  • Participate in project teams and take ownership of less complex operational initiatives within the Product and Solutions team scope
  • Apply simplification principles and best practices to streamline processes
  • Develop an understanding of industrial print production workflows and technologies

Knowledge Building and Continuous Learning

  • Seek opportunities to expand domain-specific knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrate a proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • Previous internship or work experience in a go-to-market, product or project teams, or industrial engineering environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of industrial print production processes and technologies is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and spreadsheet tools.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic project management experience and an understanding of process and project management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Eager to learn and apply their skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time, 5-6 month internship starting in January 2025.
